WHAT IS COACHING?
Have you ever felt stuck? Or find yourself circling back to unsatisfactory solutions? Coaching is a powerful tool to gain clarity, consider new directions and overcome the obstacles in our way.
Coaching opens up a safe and confidential environment where we explore our assumptions, create and test original ideas, or practice new skills that can lead to positive change. Whether you're looking to make a major life transition or simply want to improve your overall well-being, coaching can help you achieve your goals.
WHO IS COACHING FOR?
Coaching is for those who want to develop healthier habits, grow their capacity to live fuller lives, or be more effective at work. It can be useful to a variety of people from professionals to NGOs, and across age groups.
Certain degrees of anxiety, feeling uncertain or disconnected, or even anger and frustration fall well within the boundaries of normal human functioning and may not need clinical interventions. Some do choose to include a mental health coach on their care team which could consist of counsellors, psychologists, or psychiatrists. Referrals will be made when appropriate.
HOW LONG ARE THE SESSIONS?
Each session is typically 60 minutes. Most prefer to schedule one session per week or every 2 weeks at the beginning, and later, to schedule appointments when necessary. Bigger or more challenging goals will benefit from consistency and longer time horizons.
